Report:

tried off of the rocks on ballyvoyle head on sat, went all the way out to the very tip of the headland. tried rag mack crab and muscle in the hope of a few pollock or wrasse, not a bite. by the end of the day i was so bored and hot i just went swimming, water is fcuking freezing.

sunday evening i noticed a large shoal of mullet in the river at the ballinroad/ballincourty cross, immediately groundbaited with 2 loaves of bread and a few mack. went back about 3 hours later and couldnt buy a bite. there were dozens of brown trout jumping for flies, several were of a very decent size (i estimated some to be in the region of 45-50cm)
