tiga
Hi ViperSD
I bought myself a samalite headlight similar to the Tiga that you have been asking about. I got it from 'Gerrys of Morcambe' through mail order. It has two bulbs - a 5 watt and a 15 watt making it bright and very very bright. while the head piece weights little the nickle hydride battery is quite heavy and the makers claim the charge lasts between 3- 10 hours depending on the level of brightness chosen. Overall i am de'lighted' with it as it does away the ned for my old tilley lamp. I imagine that the Tiga is somewhat similar except it has a lead acid battery

I also have a Samalite and for the last three years have had absolutely no problems with it.I've only had to replace one 5 watt bulb so far .I have used the 5watt bulb continuosly for a seven hour session with not even a hint of dimming. Can't speak for the Tiga, but if it's as good as the Samalite it will make a good buy.
