BRIAN BYRNE ***** LAGOSTA II

#1 Post by donal domeney »

Brian a legend in charter boat angling in Ireland and across Europe is to hang up his skippers hat at the end of the season. He set a standard in chartering in Ireland which forced skippers to follow. A lot of boat anglerl learned the boating skill from watching him in action. Always at hand with the net or the Tbar when the fish were coming in. Even while you waited for the tide to pick up the kettle was on the boil and the tees and coffies were been dished out. Never a man for an easy day out we often had to reel in after 5 minutes on a mark because he would not be happy with the position of the boat. I like many boat anglers around Ireland wish him the best in his retirement from skippering to this new job a chief galley hand in the B&B with wife Cheryl.
