Claddah to blackrock, Galway, 09/06/07

#1 Post by fishinmidget »

People:Me, Chris, eoin.

Duration:1pm-9pm

Tide:going out for 5 hours and flooding for 3.

Weather:brilliant 8) 8)

Bait:mack and bread

Rigs:freeline, 3 hook flapper

Results:Me:2 mullet, 2 mack. Chris:1 mullet, 4 mack, 1 micro goby. Eoin:

Catch and Release:: Yes(except 5 mack)

Report:Well we started at the claddah after mullet..and got them 8) . then we headed out to nimmos pier after some mack....and got them 8) 8) . then we decided to move to the slipway in salthill. and did a mix of spinning and after flatties. Chris got another mack and that was it. then we moved to the back of silverstrand after the flatties and Chris managed a micro goby, however this did not matter as it was just such a great mark(see picks below). then it was back to blackrock after mack. saw a few sea trout but had no joy. i had to go at that point but the boys went back to the slip for more spinning. it was a good day. here's a few picks.

Great session lads, just next time Alex leave your phone on!

Your dad was looking for you.....
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
