Report: was like fishing in the canaries, absolutely roasting... couldnt drink enough water..
set off from galway by bus to rossaveal, everyone on the bus had a seat(except me), got to the island ferries for 10:30am and have a nice calm crossing to inishmore, landed in kilronan and parted ways with the girlfriend(put her on a tour bus
and myself and midget went for a long trek to the south of the island to fish gregory's sound... the first mark we picked was a bit uneventful, so we moved about 100yrds west.. using a 2oz lead and a size 4 hook and a strip of mack, cast and let sink ( a good depth) and slowly retrieved, i pulled up a nice pollock of about 3 lbs, that was me happy for the day
nicer little reccy for the day.. could have been better fishing but the weather made up for it
pic's to follow...
