Sea fishing in Galway

[color=blue][/color] I will be travelling to Galway from Isle of Man at the end of June and what i am looking for is any open beach or rock competitions end june to 1st week July have fished many times in Clare and Clifden so know the area quite well thanks

cois fharrage/carna have an open shore in renvyle on the 23rd junes

most other comps are from the boat

connaught fixtures are as follows:


sat 23rd June , cois fharrage, renvyle, 1600-2100, open shore

sun 22ndnd july, cois fharrage, Talbert bay, 1500- 1900, open shore

nothing in between unless you want to fish a boat competition

there are quite a few marks around that are rarely explored on the west coast that are well worth chasing after, especially with specimen fish being caught at them..

Thankyou for the replys on match fishing in the galway clifden area like the idea of fishing them if you know any contact numbers or e-mail address as to contact organisers of the events would be much appreciated .

Many thanks for that information already have boat booked for sailing will contact club may see you there thankyou ,you maybe intrested to know we are catching good tope of our beaches at moment up to 40lb in weight . Tight lines.
