Portsalon, Help needed

rite lads im suppossed to be fishing portsalon co.donegal this weekend with the club. ive never been to the place let alone fished it so all help will be appreciated. What sort of beach is it, shelving or flat. best baits and rigs, likely species and any particularly gud areas on the beach??

It's just your average beach with flats beng the main target.

Drive on up another 15 minutes and fish Fanad Head would be my advice.

Your average flattie tactics should see you right. I've only ever fished it twice so I dont know the place all that well - wouldn't be a mark I would go out of way to go to to be honest.

you can get rays at distance to makeral, sandeel and squid. :D
also flatties to rag :D
