Duration: 10am- 4pm

Tide: ?????????

Weather: wet wet wet

Bait: mack, squid, herring. rag, crab

Rigs: 2 down

Results: 84 dogs, 1 huss, 2 ray

Report: wet miserable day, tried hard for about 2 hours for a smoothy, several were caught but i wouldnt even buy one.
precious few tope around either but i believe Yappo had one.

Hi paul,we were there ourselves early,got out about 8am,as we were not part of the competition,had a lot of dogs,a lot of herring,codling and barry murphy managed to get a smooth-hound,about 5lb,we all got extremely wet as 7 hours in that rain took its toll,slipway was difficult to manage on our way in,regards dezzer................

Well done Paul, I only mannaged 50 dogs, 1 ray & 1 tope, lost another big tope at the boat, shouldn't really have to boat these but they were the rules! :lol:

What size were the Ray and the Tope?

i had 2 ray bothaonly about 3lbs, there were a few nearer to 8-9lbs. no idea about d tope

well lads as dezzer said s**t weather but after going up that far you would have to give it a go.poor coaster got an awful wetting :lol: :lol: :lol: . we tried drifting for tope out around 2 mile it was to rough and drift to fast.paul had 1 run though.only fished in around by all the other boats for an hour and a half with tons of doggies and a few other bits.
