RENVYLE GALWAY

doing a run down this way tomorrow have rag and crab for bait.
do any of you lads think it would be worth while bringing a rod at all. i will only have 1 or 2 hours to spare. that's for fishing NOT for my getting up early time :shock: :lol:

the renvile mark is a cople of miles walk over ruff ground with fishing gear but if the body is willing id give it a shot there are large huss and tope there later in the year...
having said that im not to shure exactly where to fish galway would probly be better this time of year

presumed you ment renyvile boat club there is also a rynvile past spiddle if your at that reynyvile id try spiddle pier for big conger and an odd pollock

which renvile? there is one in Connemara and one in galway(city). if it is the one close to the city then i would forget it and go to the sea front at salthill. fish at max distance here for huss and doggies.

its the one in connemara. dont think there is a harbour.

the beach at renvyle holds plenty of flatties, flounder and turbot mostly, there is good chance of thornback ray as well, plenty of doggies around and possibility of conger (yes, conger on the beach, it has happened before)

you should try gurteen if you are heading out that direction!

er.. gurteen is nearly 30 miles from renvyle.. and on those roads would take a bit of a treck....

thanks for all the replies lads its near bedtime for me.might bring the light 3piece and try for a flat or two.
will let yous know how i get on if i wet a line.

have been down to roundstone a couple of times latley but didnt get to fish mabee next time.
