ps i find dry white bread or muffens work too, found that out as i cant eat butter and the dry bread settled my stomach, the problem is forcing it down when i feel like chucking up :lol:

was just on the fone to the fish jw and they assure me that those lug are no good down there, you better give them to me to prevent yourself from wasting your time

have spoken to skipper. We are expecting to get to the reefs offshore. No need to bring frozen mackerel, can pick up fresh easily. Some big bull huss and conger caught yesterday on mackerel at anchor. Might be worth bringing a few peeler to use when anchored up.

Aye, checked the forecast, aside from a shower or two we seem to be ok for tomorrow. Thank god.... The memory of that trip last winter where we spent the day in the estuary and had about a dozen fish all day for the boat hasn't gone away. Poulnasherry anyone..... :x We had some cracking pollack fishing over those reefs last autumn on the comp with trebles of 7lb plus pollack on occasion....
