Buying rag in the North (West?)

#1 Post by Irish_Shamrock »

Can anyone help me out here? I phoned two tackle shops in Derry and one in Letterkenny. They all appear to get rag delivered (by order only) from some fella in Larne and they said it's been a nightmare getting ragworms off him recently.

I'm for Teelin next week and really need a bag of ragworm.

Can anyone help? Does anyone know the number of that lpace in Portrush that sells them?

Thanks
pete

If you havent done so already try John McLaughlin in Swilly Flies, i usually get mine there and find him 100%. You'll have to order them first of course.

Why not just dig them yourself?

Coz dont know where to dig. I've been told a few rough locations but I don't have the time to go hunting this week.

Pete, do you have a phone number for this Swilly Flies place? Where is it?

try the tackle shop beside the old Cinema in Coleraine. Good selection of frozen baits and sizable rag bags and won't try to sell you them if not in good nick, when i've went there in the past, as get them from the Larne connections. Don't know the name or number sorry as away from the triangle at the mo, but try yellow pages or drop by. good luck
