what hook to use?

Can you tell me what size hook for what. What i use for flatties and what for say pollock and cod. Or is there a middle of the road hook for both.

dont know about the other lads on here but i would go for a 1 r a 1/0 for flatties and probably not much bigger for cod and pollock on the east coast as the fish r small. if u think u will get bigger fish i would use a 4/0 r 5/0 for cod and would use the same on jelly eels and the like for pollock. on the east coast the smaller the better i reckon cos its better to catch a tiddler than nothing at all.

for flatties size 2 or 1 for cod depending on the size in the area you are fishing 2/0 to 4/0 .
