Anyone been fishing Teelin, Co. Donegal?

Thinking of heading down here during the middle of next week.

Are there many fish around there yet does anyone know? Would it be too early yet for congers from the pier at night?

Thanks for any advice

Hi Shamrock,
Am planning a trip to Teelin next weekend so would be interested to hear how you get on.
Fished the flat rocks first weekend in June last year and had a cracking session with pollock and wrasse.
Started on the bottom with two hook pats but had very little success but then switched to a sliding float rig with rag on a falling tide and it was vitually a fish a cast. Best pollock was 3lb+ and wrasse up to 2lb.
Float was set to about 20 feet.
Good luck and tight lines.

I'll either be heading down on Monday evening and fishing through until Tuesday evening, or heading down on Wednesday and hoping to be home in time for night shift on Thursday!

Either way I'll let you know.

Now to get my hands on a bag of rag...
