if you cannot get sea-peat you can use organic peat from any of your local gardening suppliers !! but you must treat it with salt water for a while before use !! just some water in a spray bottle every once in a while should do the trick but make sure the peat is well dried before you put your maddies in it , and your maddies must be cleaned of all sand and silt too , and dry !!! the last thing you want is a tub of soggy maddies !!

The way I keep mine for a few days is :
Lay a damp sheet of kitchen paper in your bait tray, put in some maddies, then lay more paper on top, place more maddies do this for maybe 5-6 layers, depending on the size of tray.
Keep them in the fridge and make sure the paper is damp and not soaking wet as they get soggy and turn to bits.
Anyway, thats how I do it.
Hope this helps!!
