Rod and Reel Combos

#1 Post by kstaff »

Hello all, not long now, just wanted to share some points on rod and reel set up's as I have been experimenting recently with some great results!!

No1. If like me you have a Black & Silver rod the best reel to use is a black one with a grey shock leader, looks the biz!!

No2. Plain black rods are more versatile, black reels are best here but Silver works too, mix n match your mainline and leaders, Hi viz colors are all the rage this season so experiment!

For the Summer I'll be sporting a new Zzipy Primo Synchro ( Black with white letters) teamed with a small Black Abu and Red Ice leader!

Bet ye thought this was going to give you extra yards!!! :D

Cheers for the replies men I knew I wasn't alone! If we can just organise Trinny & Suzanna to get down to the Curragh we'll be set!

I'll try get some pics up on the outfits mentioned! :D
