Report:kind of a spur of the moment trip, tied up a heap pf flies today as i was off and had an itch taht needed scratching
and a few flies that needed swimming. conditions were putting it mildly woful for fly fishing, had the afore mentioned wind coming off my casting side which meant that if i cast any length of a line it would track ctraight over my head, not what you want with a 1/0 hook trailing, this resulted in me having to face away from the see and shoot the line on my back cast as to allow the fly line and fly to track down wind ( thank you lefty kreh). fish were a wee bit small but given the conditions i cannot complian. trip kind of prooved 2 points to me, firstly if you want to go fishing, go regardless of the conditiond because succeding in the face of adversity is a peerless reward, and secondly fish in difficult conditions as it will improve your ability as an angler 10 fold neil
