plugs
in kerry in july and going to do some plug fishing for bass, have a small collection, but whats better a surface, sub-surface, sallow diver or a deep diver and what ones wosk the best, thanks for the info

How long is a peice of string. :?
Almost impossible to say that one would stand out more than the others. Its really a matter of what works on the day. Surface poppers from my experience are probably the least productive but the most fun to catch on as you see the take. That said sometimes I have fished an area with everything in the lure box and the only takes came to the poppers.
Bring a few of each and see what works on the day.

thanks coaster was bringing a small collection fo about 10 and was planning of packing/buying 3 of each and one of the best

The plugs you are going to be using is more often than not going to be dictated by the ground your fishing over MC. Alot of the ground I fish over is very snaggy so I'm usually using sub surface or as the summer advances surface also.
