People: on me tod

Duration: 11:30 - 15:30

Tide:on the fill for 2 then out for first hour

Weather: started ssw and raining heavily enough - then after an hour came from sse and settled

Bait: frozen sandeel and mack

Rigs: 2,3 hook flapper

Results: 1 flounder 17cm, 1 crab :roll:

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: well ive kept my crab consistencey up 1 a session for the last 6 sessions :lol:

as soon as i put the bait in the water the sandeel was gone - seemed like the fish and crabs were feeding for the first hour - thats when i got the flounder to sandeel

ran out of sandeel at full tide - nothing touched of the mack

glad to get off the mark here - at least i know theres fish here

met a local who told me he used to long line the beach - he was wondering where all the big flats have gone - theres your answer!

why not! :lol:

i know i can hop down to blackhead anytime the confidence is low - and catch!

its something myself and my mate have gotten into our heads over the years - there has got to be more fish close into the bay - the tope must be swimming in after something in all those fast water channels!!!

heres to many more blanks over the summer :lol:
