People:Me and the missus

Duration:19.00 - 00.30

Tide:HT 00.30

Weather:slight breeze,mild

Bait:rag,squid,sandeel

Rigs:2 hook paternosters

]Results[/b]:3 plaice all around 3/4 lb,1 codling @1.5lb,5 coalies biggest 1lb,5 whiting biggest 1lb and dogs x 12.

Catch and Release:: Yes/No yes

]Report[/b]:Fished the incoming tide,plenty of bites loads of small ones cleaning the hooks,missus picked up the codling while I was reeling in a
small plaice.As soon as it got dark the dogs moved and there were plenty of bites.I was a bit freaked out though when I went to get some bait and seen a rat run away from my bait box :shock: ,after that saw another rat run right across my feet as I was casting :shock: ,as soon as I mentioned the rats the missus had enough and it was time to pack in,no complaints from me as at that stage i was spending more time shining my headlamp looking for rats rather than concentrating on the fishing!!,anyway good night with a mixed bag but had a nightmare about those rats when I went to bed :(
