People:Just me

Duration:7-30pm to 10-30pm

Tide:high at 8pm

Weather:dry, clear with a little breeze

Bait:Sandeel

Rigs:running ledger

Results:1 strap conger about 5lb

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Fished from the pier as I have a sore shoulder and couldn`t manage a cast from the shore. Caught the conger about 9pm with light starting to fade, its my first ever conger so well pleased. Had a few other knocks through the session but this was the only one I hooked.

There's supposed to be a good few decent Conger around there and if you spin, you'll quite certainly get Pollock around the back over the weed banks...
