Grey Gurnard, and a Ballan Wrasse caught on slither of mack between the Aran islands..

JD i caught starry smoothie on courtown on sunday 29th april on straight rag. we had loads of the wee smooties and dogs and bass.

they do look a bit on the long side for a s.s.s. ,especially for the size of the fish ,any photos of the throat area ?

no sorry. i just thought it was a short spined because the description matched the one on a web page i looked up. wasnt a great description though.
