Well known Kinsale charter skipper is laid to rest

#1 Post by Mohawk »

I'm sorry to have to report the following sad news.

This may come as a shock to a lot of anglers on here, I just heard the grim news myself today.

Well known Kinsale charter skipper Arthur Long (47) was buried today Thursday May 3 2007,

Many of you may have fished with Arthur over the years.

Arthur Long R.I.P

I believe it was a sudden death possibly a heart attack

He was due to start skippering one of Barry Twomey's 3 boats in Crosshaven today so he may have sold his own boat the Offshore 105, "Excalibur" based at Castlepark marina in Kinsale.
