Weather:Sunny to start, slight breeze at our backs, got a bit chilly later

Bait:Rag and Mack

Rigs:2 hook pats

Results:2 dogs, 1 smoothie, 3 small whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes


Report:Said i'd bring my kiwi mate for his first fishing trip in Ireland. Very quite night fishing wise but great to get out. All fish came on rag. Last dog gave me the a great fight thought i had something big on. :oops:

That happend me before in the same venue, got hit by what I thought was a bass. Great fight and after a few mins a doggie on the beach..? Couldnt believe it.

Nice one on the smoothie. Never caught one. Would love to. Bet they are great on light tackle.

Nice smoothie. Looks like a small immature male. Lots of those have been taken down that way recently. Still waiting on my first one of the season. Hopefully this weekend!

hey bigstyle did u get another fishin suit or are you the cleanest man on this site ? i told ya in feb to roll around in muck as you where scaring off the fish they where only getting to like my bells and along comes PERSIL COLOUR man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: p.s nice pics ure getin good better change your name to smiley persil colour !!!!!!!!

Always the man to give ya a compliment. I only put it on when i get a fish so i look the part in the pics. :lol: :lol:
Seriously tho, this was my second time out since i was out with you. It still looks new after three trips. Just not catching enough. :oops: :oops: :cry: :cry:

Eoghan, i thought it was a bass as well. Last 10-15 yards it tried to run for it and then broke the water. I could make it out in the moon light till i go it in. Bit gutted i must say thought it was my first. :cry:
