Kinnego Bay 28/04

#1 Post by Irish_Shamrock »

People: Myself and a few friends but I was the only one fishing

Duration: 1900-0000

Tide: dropping

Weather: Lovely

Bait: Lures & frozen mack

Rigs: 2 hook flappers

Results: A few coalies on the lure

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: Landed at around 7pm last night and immediately went spinning off the rocks to the left of the beach, caught a few nice coalfish to about 2lbs maybe, on a wee plug thing I bought for pike in December - fast becoming my favourite lure 8)

Came over to the beach when the light started to fade as it's a bit dangerous to be rock hopping in the dark, but there was a fierce amount of weed being washed up onto the beach making fishing next to impossible, so I gave up after a while.
