Spinning at night??

Was just wondering is it any good to spin for bass in darkness iv heard different thing bout this and was just wondering what you guys think....

The only bass I ever caught on a lure was caught at night on the way home from an evenings plugging over East Cork way... Buddy of mine last summer had 3 bass spinning for mackerel from a surf beach (very possible down here... :D ) in black darkness.

have had bass on the fly at night in veryy shallow water in an estury, could see them chasing sandeel in 1ft of water. were quite happy to wolf down poppers. interesting how close they will come to you at night if you remain still

have had lots in the dark on flyin Cs./bubble and redgill think if you use lures that vibrate/make noise
