Passage, Co. Waterford

does anyone know of any decent shore marks around the passage area. the area with the ferry running must be pretty deep and with all the commotion it must throw up a fair amount of sand/food.
can anyone help with marks/ species and baits pls.

hi paul, ive only fished this in winter with mixed results.if u head into passage from the waterford side go downstream from the ferry a few hundred metres till u get to the public loos.over the low wall to the right is a small channel (at low water) that runs into the main river.beyond that is a warning bouy standing on top of a mussel bed.fish low water up from the bouy direction back to the ferry.plenty of mussels and cockles can be collected from the mud as can a few lug.they say bass can be caught here in summer, spinning, but not so sure. ollie

Poor. Had 5 I think. All the fish were caught in the high numbers. You find a spot for rag yet?
