hey paddy

rigs mentioned should be perfect as long as they are loaded with plenty fresh peeler crab. depending on where youre planning to fish 4 or 5 oz leads should do the job possibly gripped due to the big (4.2m) tide. where you thinking of trying?

hey paddy,

youre best bet for peelers would be to drop tom maher from this site a line. check out his report and pics from their recent outing near youghal bridge. i'd imagine the crabs would make short work of lug baits and lug isn't half as effective for flounder in the youghal area.

hope this helps
