Yes, RT=Ron Thompson there the same shape as DCA leads but a slight bit off on the grams,, im brutal at putting up pics, so if you google DCA you should get some pics, there oval with both ends going into a point. hope this helps. I also forgot to mention that "all" shock leader should be Hi-Viz so we can spot the crack offs a bit easier, no clear stuff and the following dia,s to be complied with- minimum of 0.75mm for 150gr, 175gr and 200gr and minimum of 0.65mm for 100gr & 125gr

Lads we really need to get the remainder of the fees in by the end of this week in order to proceed and have a chance of holding our 1st meet the end of this month. Again if paypal does not suit you please get in touch ASAP and we can arrange something.. If your name is on the list above and you have made your payment please make sure you let either myself or keith know so we can mark you down as paid. Thanks.

Also at the min we have a large Irish flag for the back end of the court at the centre line, but we need 2 more for the side lines,,anyone got 2 decent sized flags ( any colour and big enough to be seen 250m away) they could part with,,?? or anyone live near a golf course!!

That's 14 paid up now by my reckoning, isn't that enough to get the club off its feet?

kracken: Henrys shop has them in stock now in diff sizes, with his 150g having long tails (a bit of a rareity these days too) the company DCA went bust a few years ago thanks to Mr RT and Co so the moulds are farily hard to come by now, has John O Briens not got them..??

Henry has just had 30 (150g) made for me with the long tails..... I will supply these FOC at the first meet.

The long tails work really nicely. When your lead berries it's self the long tail is still above ground, thus protecting your shockleader and preventing crack offs due to chaffed shock leader. I'm not sure if they can be used at official tournaments, but they are great for practice.

Jaysus, that's very good of you Kevin!! Much Appreciated by all concerned I'm sure.

We could look at placing an order with Henry ( 10 per man for example) after the first meet? Just a thought.

john u can get the gemini long tail moulds in john o briens for 25 euro...

Gemini moulds are good for moulding leads for fishing, but they are not the type you would use for casting.
If looking for a mould to cast leads for field casting you should keep an eye out for a DCA,which can be used in assoc with long or short tails or a RT.
