Cockle Lake
Not me. Never fished there before but can easily predict that its as crap as everywhere else in Dublin! :P :P :P Alby is your man Mark. He's fished it a fair bit. I suspect its much the same as Dollymount. I hear Flounders are the target and very, very sometimes the odd small Bass was caught there but thats just like everywhere is'nt it?
this spot can throw up good flounders - twitch a spoon with rag through the channel
it can produce good bass and like dollymount produces the big lads every year but only a few and only when the conditions are spot on ie after a good easterly when the shellfish take a hammering
you can also get hounds on the crab.
