Master angler

Could somebody please inform me of how the master angler procedure works for boat angling how do u get invite and what are the qualifing rules :? :? :? :?

you first have to win a club master angler to qualify for the masters ,each club holds so many comps,some clubs have slightley different rules than others as reguards fish size and points per fish. depending on your placing in the club comp, you get so many points and the angler with the most points at the end of the club comps ,goes on to represent the club at the master angler comp.the masters are fished under the ifsa rules which can be read in the ifsa diary,you get one when you are a paid up member of a club.hope this helps.cheers john

Thanks i was thinking that was how it worked but a couple of people told me that the event was by invite only and it didn't matter if you were nominated by your club you still weren't garunteed entry
