Beach near Dunaff Head and pier at Culdaff.

#1 Post by MARRCO7 »

People:Me and 2 young sons

Duration:10-19.30

Tide:high tide 16.30

Weather:very warm calm in morning sunny

Bait:Lug Rag tipped with Mack

Rigs:Bottom

Results:4 Plaice 3 Pollack

Catch and Release:: Yes/No Yes

Report:Went to Beach near Dunaff Head which looked promising, fished at low water then as tide started caught first Plaice followed by another, alot of weed on beach and a very pebble strewn beach, a beach not unlike Glenarm but with a higher tide mark, went down to Leeaun Pier but boats and anglers there so moved to Culdaff where we caught Pollack and 2 more Plaice from Bunagee harbour behind boats, packed it in later as kids were tired and wind got up. First Plaice for youngest son and first seafish too.
