L.S.D KILLERS !!!

Walked clones strand this morning and found between 6 and 10 young dogfish in the small area dead.Just cant understand why people do this sort of thing.I just hope the fish gods look down on these people and give them no look in the future !!

Yeah saw the same in Greystones a few weeks ago, there were a few dead dogfish in a rockpool :? Dont know why people just dont throw them back!?!

I saw the same on rocks at the back of Ardglass pier on Monday.Just one but its still one to many in my eyes. :evil:

these people are locals imports would have eaten them which is preferable to a fish being left to die in agony i have to admitt dogfish are quite tasty but dont think i have eaten 1 in last 10 years they have saved many an angler from a blank and on light tackle can put up a fight if given the chance :oops:

I eat an lsd about 2 weeks ago, cooked a fillet on the pan at the beach and then smoked the other fillet at home. Was tasty, not a lot of meat on them though.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.

i think its a disgrace to catch a dogfish and just leave it on the beach..poinless and ignorant

if it was after a competition, then it is just laziness on the part of the angler. when i catch a dogfish and release it, 8/10 it will swim back to the shore. you should always check the shore line a couple of minutes after putting back a dogfish to make sure that it hasnt returned to shore.

Know what you mean man, can't understand why people feel the need to kill the fish their not planning on eating/using as bait.
