Have had 4 (I think) DBB over the 5lb mark. Dublin Bay PB would be 6 3/4lb, no pictures. All mine were caught on Lures. Only problem with Dublin Bay, is that you have to put in dozens of hours for a single Bass, but there are there.

I look forwad to seeing the pic,

Kev

I have had Bass in Dublin to 8Ib, plenty of 7's and 6's and even seen double figure bass caught on a few occasions. My mate in one session took a 7Ib and an 8Ib. I was standing 20 yards from him that day and blanked...!

I pleaded with the guy who took the double figure bass to return them but they went into a sack and he promptly left...... :(
Top 3 lure caught bass 2017 :
10Ib 5 oz
9Ib 2oz
8Ib 11oz

Thanks guys! It's easier to persevere and keep learning knowing they're there. So I'll have to trust you're not taking the piss! I just need to catch one in order to honour my signature

Always catch a few each year from Dublin marks, not many but they are there, all mine have been caught on bait, this year I'm gonna try some lures as I have never caught a bass on a lure.
