I'm not sure Yet, But I think the lads might be heading up to Fanad over the Xmas Holidays, with Cod in mind.

Fanad in winter
A few of us fished it about 3 weeks ago, and it was rubbish.
We fished towards the right hand side of the lighthouse, and spent all day there for a few Dabs and a few coalies.
Tried all sorts of bait, rigs, etc, but the outcome was poor.
I thought that it would be a good winter venue, but i was disappointed that day, but will try it again soon.
I will keep you posted as to what we get.
