People: Myself and friend

Duration:8:00pm to 12:30am

Tide:High 10:30pm

Weather:Almost flat calm

Bait:Fresh lug

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:Myself 2 flounder 3 coalies 1 bass 1.5lb, friend 1 flounder
2 coalies 1 rockling

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report: Having not being out since january decided to head out
last night for a few hours and with the wind being from the west there was
no surf and didnt look promising at all, but decided to wet a line anyway
and just aswell i got my first bass using bait and had to use the light from
my phone to see him as i forgot to charge my head lamp, but good night
over all

I was plugging on the rocks a couple of miles away and when it got dark I called over to see if there was anyone fishing. It was around 10pm. Couldn't see any lights so presumed there was no one there. You mustn't have had any rod tip lights either?

Tom, that was a great result given the settled conditions and the water clarity. That was the reason I went plugging. Unfortunately, I had bugger all - but great to get out on evenings that were almost like summer.

Fair play tom, well done on the BAss. We ended up plagued by dogs on the beach you met us on nearby and gave up around midnight.

Hi marty ya had a very good night a lot better than i taught, and ye had notting only dogs glad i didnt stay with your self and andy so haha
