hi lads , im just wondering since sea angling ireland SAC is now affiliated with IFSA ! , is it possible to fish your club comps without joining the club ?? i.e little killary !!

they are not open comps so you must be a member of the club.

The more the merrier. On the point of Affiliation you will need to be paid up members in advance of the competition so you can be registered with Leinster Council for insurance reasons.
oh yeah i know that !! im in 2 clubs as it is !! but for insurance purposes if i want to show up to little killary comp and pay me fee ther and then would i be insured to fish that comp because im in IFSA !!?

No, because it is not an open (or confined) comp.

ok , was just wondering because thats how i joined my last 2 clubs !!!! i turned up at the comp and filled out my form ther and then !! now ill have to meet up with someone before the little killary comp and join !! how will i go bout doing this ??
