conger/doggies of howth

beein fishin the west pier for conger eel nd ive stillnt yet catch 1 of the west pier im just wonderin is it a bit early for conger in howth?? might give the east pier a shot 2 see can i pull 1 in from ther! had a few bites on the west pier but i dnt knw if they wer just crabs plyin wit the bait also is it possible tht u can catch doggies or even huss of the east pier??
