zziplex profile

hi lads are these rods as good as they make out? light stiff? does it cover most types of fishing :?: what is the best casting weight? im doing my homework and i dont want to be disapointed, or could anybody recomend anything else.

You'll not be disappointed, it is IMHO one of the best fishing rods Zziplex have made....feels fantastic!! powerful and friendly.

very pricey for basically a stepped up bass rod, works well upto 4oz
abouve that it will struggle , more over-rated zziplex rods, <jd> removed unnecessary comment</edit>

The Profile will knock the snot out of any bass rod on the market, it will chuck 5oz and even 6oz without any struggle at all.

The power in any slim beach casting rod comes from the use of high modulus carbon, not a very cheap commodity....hence the extra price.

Zziplex rods must be the best value rods on the market, what other make of rod will have such a high secondhand value.

totally agree tom, when it comes to zziplex keeping their price
second-hand, no other make can touch them, but the profile, as terry
carrol clearly stated it was aimed at the lighter end of surf-fishing, its
big brother the M4 is far more suited to the general side and medium
rough ground work.
