hello
hopefully heading out on sunday or monday.
originally had thought of trying up round the swilly for some ray but could still be a bit on the early side
but are there any larger species available (huss, rays, spurs, smoothies, congers etc) this time of year in the donegal bay/sligo area maybe from killybegs down as far as strandhill?
Cheers for any info

You won't get spurs or smotthies around Sligo anyway. If you were prepared to venture further than Strandhill you can get conger at Aughris or Easky. Haven't tried for them yet this year so i don't know if there is any about. I'm currently trying to find somewhere around Sligo/ Donegal to catch ray so if you have any luck let me know.
