#1 Post by Davy Murdoch »

People:me

Duration:6:30pm-8:45pm

Tide:low @ 6pm

Weather:sunny,cold NE wind,choppy

Bait:rag

Rigs:fixed pat

Results:corkwing,goldsinny,ballan wrasse,poorcod,pouting and shore rockling.

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Im glad to say that the summer is on its way for Bangor and the wrasse are starting to appear again even if its not in any great numbers.First fish was a little corkwing followed quickly by a goldsinny then and ballan,unfortunately that was the last wrasse of the session and all i could catch after that was a few poorcod and 4 or 5 pouting.Once the light started to go i had two small shores but i couldn`t stick the cold wind any longer and headed home for a hot coffee. :)

Nice one Davy, great array of fish there, even this early in the year. I can't wait to target some wrasse this summer and beat last year when i caught Goldsinny, Ballan and a Cuckoo wrasse. :D
