People:

Duration:4x3 hrs.

Tide:mostly around h.w.

Weather: clear/cloudy today

Bait:lugs

Rigs:2 and 3 up pats.

Results:7 bass/ 1 about 6lb. the rest 1.5/2.5lb.
1/4. east clonea fished in day 1.5lb.returned for an hour at dusk 2.5lber
2/4 cunnigar 4/7 p.m. nothing, missed 1 good bite
3/4 clonea 7/9.30p.m. much better conditions nice surf and overcast first cast had a 2lber. :) nothing for a while so started useing the "cortaz method"? had gone down the beach a bit and the bait was only 10 yards out whan i felt a bump, dipped the rod tip waited for the line to tighten, it did and lifted into a fine fish that just took for 50/60 yards in about 5 secs. it
bucked and kicked back in and made several more short runs before i beached a 6lber. on a light spinnin rod, 8lb. line, size 1 hook,1 oz. lead great sport. had 3 more schoolies after that to the same method.
