Fished ennareilly yesterday for an hour before high tide and three hours after.
Caught plenty of micro whiting, about twenty five all released, though unfortunately no other species.

Hi Kieran,

We were using rag tipped with mussell on a three hook flapper, size 2/0 hooks with floating beads.
The frozen crab was fished on pulley rig ending in a pennell with size 3/0.
Nearly all were taken on the first rod.

On another note, I have a late <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=photo&v=56">photo</a> for the gallery from July if it's not too late to be considered. It's of a non <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=fishing&v=56">fishing</a> friend so if you could it would be great. It's of a stonebass taken just off Cape Clear aboard Nick Dent's the Rooster (Baltimore).

Frozen black lug is a brilliant bait for this beach at the moment. Use a third of a worm tipped with mackerel

Fished here again yesterday.
When we got there we wondered should we have bothered as the sea was wild, i don't mind a bit of surf but i do have a healthy fear of being swept in.
It turned out to be great, with my first ever December Bass and my first from the east coast. It was just a schoolie but it felt great, released as were all fish.
There were four rods <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=fishing&v=56">fishing</a> between three of us and we fished two hours up to the flood and three after.
Three half decent coalies and a good few whiting though most of the whiting were tiny.

All in All a great day by my standards......

Do you fish the northerly beach in the townland of Ennereilly or the one that is signposted?

I was talking to angler on the north beach and he told me he'd seen a tope caught off it and it still produces a few ray in the autumn at night but the southerly beach seems to get the better surf for the schoolies.
