got up at the crack of dawn and dug some rag while still hung over then hit the beach around 12. absolutly perfect surf rolling in couldn't have asked for better and absolutly nothing to show for it. this time last year we had bass and good flounder but not today!

mac, how are things! yeah the night before paddys day last year myself and another guy had one each no great size or anything just 2 schoolies about the 2 pound mark. mid april is when they begin to show in numbers. yeah bigger tides do tend to fish better except at low water when its literally a foot deep for 300 yards. seen a couple of sea trout movin around up there on sunday too. i was standing in 2 inches of water just before we finished up and right beside us qbout 30 sandeels erupted out of the sand and swam off, big lads 6 - 7 inches long. ya can bet thats what the sea trout are feeding on!
