Report:hit the painted rock with sam to see if there was much about it started of slow at slack water tide was well drained out maid it a bit tricky getting the traces back to the tripod but when we got some water back the fish started to feed with codling to just over 30cm and whiting to 25cm we decided to leave not long after the fishing had picked up
headed to garron point today to target wrasse but it was dead with none showing there was two anglers already there when we arrived they where float fishing they managed a few small pollack then a slightly better one at 3lb 4 oz but off coarse me and the mate didn't have a float between us next time!!!heard a rumour that the mackerel are feeding at the salmon netts at waterfoot and spotted fry in carrick harbour yesterday
