pollack- cork and kerry

howya lads just lookin for a bit of info from ye southern folk, when do the pollack arrive back in shore around cork and kerry? I ve been down in may plenty of times and there has loads of them, just want to know when is the earliest i could head down?

I've got mackeral off fenit pier as early as april so i guess soon enough

loads of sandeel in fenit last night being hit by small pollock they're on their way

We were out in the boat yesterday from Dingle, had some good Pollack from a reef out there, coming back in we tried close into the shoreline just out of curiosity to see if there was much about, we had the odd 4lber fairly quickly.

Hi,

Even the mackerel have arrived at Fenit Pier apparently or so I've heard over the weekend. Pollack and plenty of wrasse are available on the rock marks right now - easter weekend last year we took good fish to 5lbs and that's only a fortnight away...

cheers for that liam, thats great ! absolutly dying to head down that direction. i love the cork and kerry coast especially the rough stuff i'd spend all day every day catching those big shore pollack and wrasse, must head down easter weekend! thanks again lads
