i found myself reading through the shore marks on this site and day dreaming about the summer fishing coming in. i've never fished the black arch and wondered do the pollock and wrasse run to a decent size off this mark? roll on the summer!!

i wish lazy!! hate this time of the year! but it'll probably start picking up soon. i'm green with envy at some of the boys down south, catching half a dozen bass and flounder in daylight!! they don't know how good they have it.

hi pookie, most rock marks do fish well close in. i don't mind that if i've a chance of hooking something decent. i was hoping the mark would produce big wrasse, shame. could be a good spot for light spinning gear for pollock and macks in the summer. i'll leave it till then.

Hello Rab01,I have fished this spot a lot and remember catching a blackmouth L/s/d ,you will be cut off by rising tide the on outer rock but you only have a gap of about 5-6 feet to the steps , remove shoes & socks & trousers and wade over, under foot its concrete. As you go down the steps go to your left about 25-35 yds to the old sewer pipe is also fishable I think the pipe is no longer in use . At one time many years ago the green bunglow just past the arch used to sell ragworm.
