People: Just me
Duration: 5 hours (2 at the Dee)
Tide: Rising
Weather: Very windy but mild
Bait: Rag and squid
Rigs: 3 hook flapper
Results: Two 3 bearded rockling and a codling
Catch and Release:: Yes
Report: Hit the Dee at 4am on the rising tide to see what was about. All the fish where taken from my usual spot, all on the bottom hook and all on rag tipped with squid. Had to post the picture of the rockling as its my PB at just over a 1/2 lb. Strange that its bite was very tentitive and light and to be honest if I hadn't been holding the rod I would probably have missed it. All my previous rockling have been quite drab in colour but this on seems to be taking on more of the red appearance of Ronalds and alannelson's beauties. Has anyone else noticed how certain fish change with age/size? Packed up once it got light and moved to Orlock to float for some coalies but I drew a blank at the both marks tried. Ah well that Orlock for ya.

Always get them confused :oops: The wind made any bites hard to detect. At that time of the morning you generally don't get the comedians and have to answer the same question a dozen times over. :roll:
