The Cut South Wexford

#1 Post by weaverbeaver »

People: Me & the Big Fella

Duration:7 -10

Tide: Rising

Weather:OK

Bait:Fresh Crab & lug

Rigs 3 hook flappers

Results: 2 bass, 2 cod

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:

I heard that the County Council had opened the 'Cut' last week so decided to give it a go, its always a hot spot when at full flow.
Only had four fish, but conditions were not great still a bit of weed about ,and it made the session a bit difficult to say the least. The two cod were small about a lb but both bass were decent 2 1/2 & maybe 4lb. We are going back again on Wed night the weed should be gone by then. The venue always produces more fish over low water.
