ultimate live bait

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

the latest fad in japan is injecting fish with luminous dye from deep sea jelly fish so they glow 24/7 in their aquariums could this be the ultimate live bait for fishing :?:

It sure is but consider the dolphin video you just saw and then ask yourself if you are surprised.

(mod edit) they dont have much respect for any animals and seem to think if an animal isnt amusing then lets eat it take the dolphin footage on the site man oh man what cruel they couldnt pick a more agonizing method of murdering a mammal that obviously has a bigger brain than those doing the torture  still could this dye not be used on fishing bait its 100% natural imagine a rag worm loaded with the stuff killer bait for sure :!:

you could do that but to add glow to lug before , just to experiment , i slid two bits of clear silicone tubing onto a trace just above the hook and put a small starlight inside each of the tubing pieces.

then i baited with a lug and threaded it carefully over the stars, gently so it didnt burst, you could see the glow from inside the worm throuhh the thin skin. beacuse the stars are captive on the line they cant be injested and they fit really snug in the tubes so didnt come loose

it worked but nothing spectacular, wrasse and pollock, but non luminous worms worked too
