Good couple of days....only coming round now...DT's for past two nights :?

Well done to Petekd and Rampant, both lads fished well. I had the joy of sitting all day looking at a motionless rod tip whilst regularly signing Mr. Wreckfishe's scorecard

at least the DTs are self inflicted! :D

i had a few ropey moments on the day - at one stage i was getting the old weakness again for some reason

decided to lie down - before i knew it missed a massive bite rod fell over - and i couldnt even bring myself to jump and grab the damn thing

was having cold sweats in the car on the way home - thank god i made it home and promptly started puking :? :x

been terrible ever since - out of the scratcher for the races first time near the pc

food poisoning - a terrible dose!!!

anyway back to the fishing!

got out on the last cast for the second comp running in lettergesh - turbot again to lug - tipped with sandeel - 3 hook flapper

top hook yesterday - middle one last time

about 10cm - what a save !

great to meet the two petes and put faces to the names

Thanks for the congrats lads. It was a funny day I reckon half the people on the beach were still under the influence. Not me of course. Being a none drinker i was fresh and ready to fish, not sleeping in peters car half an hour before the comp started. Good to meet the lads that came up for the day and well done to pete who did well on a new venue, in the process getting the biggest turbot i have seen taken on that beach.

JP, one of the lads from Ballina told me he's never seen you at a comp where you haven't been still drunk
You haven't got a problem have you...?
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
